Cardrona's 2023 Single Malt Whisky release is an exquisite trinity of three hand-selected casks, drawn from some of Cardrona's oldest stocks, a 7 year old ex-Oloroso Sherry butt, a 7 year old ex-Boubon barrel and a 5 year old ex-Pinot noir barrique. Made from 100% New Zealand grown malted barley, smoked using native Manuka wood and distilled through Thomson's copper pot stills. Natural smoke, cinnamon, clove, Manuka oils.

Two types of cask are used for the maturation of this blended whisky: European oak which formerly held New Zealand red wine, and American white oak used exclusively for whisky. Sea air, caramelised fruits, red berries, apricot, spice.
